Copyright Information

Except as otherwise expressly provided, the author of each article in this volume has granted permission for copies of that article to be made and used by nonprofit educational institutions, so long as copies are distributed at or below cost and provided that author and journal are identified and that proper notice of copyright is affixed to each copy.

Reprint permission

Boston College Law Review is committed to the wide distribution of its scholarship. Accordingly, we routinely provide reprint permission for the articles to which we hold copyright.

Send requests for reprint permission to John Gordon at john.gordon@bc.edu. To help us determine whether the author has retained copyright to the materials, the request should contain the author’s name, the article’s title and citation (including volume number, page number and year of publication). Also, kindly provide a brief description of the project for which the requested materials will be used (class materials, digest service, book, et cetera). If the law school holds copyright, we will provide the requesting party with permission by return email. In the event that the author has retained copyright, the request must be directed to him or her. Unless the asterisk footnote associated with the author’s biography states that the author has retained copyright, copyright vests with the law school.
