Jeremy (Jerry) Marr is the founder and principal of Cayenne Law, a boutique law firm concentrating on technology transactions and licensing for life sciences and technology clients. He was previously a member of the Technology Transactions and Licensing Practice in the Boston office of the international law firm, WilmerHale. Marr negotiates and advises clients on collaboration, joint venture, development, outsourcing, coproduction, distribution, license and service arrangements. He has also provided general corporate advice and represented clients in venture capital financings, securities offerings, lift outs, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to his legal career, he held a variety of senior management positions in international sales, marketing, services and engineering at public and private companies in the software industry. Marr is a magna cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College and received his J.D. summa cum laude from Boston College Law School, where he was Editor in Chief of Boston College Law Review. He also served as a judicial law clerk to Chief Justice Margaret H. Marshall (retired) of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
