Building on 25 years of experience in successfully hosting the Northeast Regional NP Conference, the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Boston College Connell School of Nursing Continuing Education Program are excited to announce the launch of the First Annual New England Regional Nurse Practitioner Conference .


This 3 day conference will include timely keynote addresses as well as a variety of workshops, clinical sessions, industry exhibits, and poster presentations designed to help nurse practitioners and other health care professionals develop and maintain expertise in the delivery of high quality care.  An evening reception and awards ceremony encourages networking and recognizes outstanding achievements.

A block of rooms has been reserved for participants at Boston Marriott Newton for the nights of Wednesday thru Friday May 1-3, 2019. The rooms will be held until April 1, 2019.

Contact Hours:

This conference will allow participants to earn up to 19.25 nursing contact hours. Contact hours will be awarded upon completion of the online evaluation for the sessions attended. The evaluation will be sent via email after the conference. 

There is an administrative processing fee of $25.00 for replacement of a contact hour certificate.  

This conference program was planned in accordance with ANCC CE Standards and Policies and ANCC Commercial Support Standards.


Accreditation:

This nursing continuing education program is provided by the Boston College Connell School of Nursing Continuing Education Program, an approved provider of nursing continuing education by the American Nurses Association Massachusetts, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

At the conclusion of this conference, the participants will be able to:

  • Identify critical issues and clinical challenges facing nurse practitioners in the health care environment.
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies in clinical practice to improve patient care outcomes.
  • Mobilize professional resources to prepare for future changes and challenges in health care delivery.
