

Second-year students can boost their career prospects by participating in the Sophomore Accelerator (UGMG2222), a nine-week, comprehensive career development course covering everything from foundational skills to how to dress for interviews and communicate with potential employers.
During the one-credit, pass/fail course, students:
Students taking the Sophomore Accelerator course hone their interpersonal skills through informational and mock interviews with alumni from the Eagle Expert Network—a group of successful Carroll School alumni who help students secure internships and foster professional relationships.
Eagle Experts provide invaluable mentorship, and through their knowledge students learn about the various industries and opportunities available after graduation.
Peer Advisors are Carroll School seniors from a variety of backgrounds and with a range of academic concentrations and experiences who help other students with course recommendations, internship process, interview preparation, extracurricular activities, and more.
