RHA Logo

RHA is the voice of students in residence halls and around campus. We host events that build community both within and outside of Boston College.

What We Do

The Boston College Residence Hall Association recognizes living on campus to be an essential part of the collegiate experience. Our student run organization works to create a positive living environment through providing students with programming opportunities, advocacy outlets, and community service events. RHA functions to promote leadership development, personal growth, and works to create a BC community that feels like home.

Events

Some of our signature events include:

  • Grill & Chill
  • Best of the Nest
  • Spooky Skate
  • Charles River Cleanup
  • Mile 22

Be on the lookout for flyers throughout the semester with more information!

Care Packages

Share your love and support all year long with the Boston College care package program. A care package is the best way to remind your child that you are thinking of them throughout the school year.

Each of our care packages include your child’s favorite snacks, including holiday themed treats, fruit, candy bars, baked goods and more! The best part is that you can include your own personal note to your student in every package. Don't just show them how much you care, tell them!

Information on how to order coming soon!

I joined RHA as an RHC member freshman year and fell in love with the club as a freshman and particularly loved the community I found in RHA. After being a member of SLC sophomore year and then leading the council, I felt like senior year was my time to take on an even bigger leadership role to keep RHA the amazing club it is.

I am a Junior in MCAS with a Biology major and Medical Humanities minor and I've been in RHA since I was a freshman. I was a member of Duchesne RHC and hope to continue to enhance the freshman experience by being a leader for first year students who are now in the place I was once in as members of RHC on Newton Campus. I hope to increase RHC members' connection to the club as a whole and to the communities they live in to fulfill the goal of RHA which is to love where you live.

I joined RHA as VP of Marketing in the CLXF RHC during my freshman year, was a member of SLC last year, and can't wait to lead the Upper RHCs. RHA made BC feel so much smaller and what really made it feel like home. This year I hope to involve the freshmen within the larger club earlier and pass on my amazing experience!

I am Sage, a senior from Wellesley, MA. I got involved in RHA my freshman year when I was a member of the CKM RHC, I then got the chance to be on a programming council and co-chair that council the next year. This year I hope to establish brand recognition of RHA on campus and create events that convey the idea of "love where you live."

I found RHA through my childhood friend and fellow e-board member, Molly Abbott, at the end of my freshman year and absolutely fell in love with it. Through my role as co-chair of the UPC, I hope to work alongside our council to encourage a stronger sense of community and support system for the upperclassmen.

Community Engagement Co-Chair

| Class of 2024

I joined RHA my freshman year as a general member because I was looking for a strong community of people that wanted to make BC a better place. My sophomore year I joined SPC, and junior year as SPC Co-Chair I really learned the importance of the slogan of "Love Where You Live". In community engagement this year my goal is to have everyone know about RHA and build relationships between the members of the club and the greater Boston community.

When I joined RHA my sophomore year, the Community Engagement immediately caught my eye. I love how this council is the club’s link to external organizations and also promotes internal opportunities to serve and grow relationships within RHA. I’m honored to serve another year as Comm co-chair and look forward to expanding community service opportunities to students across BC, regardless of RHA membership.
