Abby is a senior majoring in Communication and double minoring in Computer Science and Management and Leadership, and is originally from Edina, Minnesota. On campus she is a coordinator for SAP, volunteer in 4B and member of BC's Women in Computer Science, but off campus, you find her decorating cakes at White Mountain! She is in LOVE with the city of Boston so any time you want to head into the city to go to a museum or fun coffee shop, hit her up.

Adrianne is a senior in the school of Nursing and is originally from Burrillville, Rhode Island! She spends most of her time at BC playing the Bass Drum for the Boston College Marching Band or making coffee at the CoRo Cafe. She is also a STRIDE Leader for the STRIDE Leadership Program for sophomores. When Adrianne isn't studying for nursing exams, she enjoys memeing, dabbing, and making bad puns. She loves a good laugh and is always down for late night (if you're buying). She can't wait to meet and make some good mems with her first years!

Amelia is a senior studying physics and philosophy. She loves being outside -- running, hiking, camping, and getting out on the water. She leads Outdoor Adventure trips through BC Rec and is a CLC leader and VP of the Society of Physics Students. Top conversation topics that get her excited: painting, good stories, quantum mechanics, and anything related to bread-baking or soup-making. She is thrilled to be a part of Ascend and can’t wait to get coffee or go for a walk with all of you!

Carly is a senior in the Lynch School of Education studying elementary education and math and computer science with a minor in special needs! She is from Fort Madison, Iowa and a true small town girl at heart. When not spending her days with 6 year olds, she loves to play intramural sports (volleyball and wallyball), hang out with her friends, bake yummy treats, and take adventures into Boston! She loves country music and anything Taylor Swift. She is a goddess.  Carly is so excited to get to know y'all!

Catherine is a senior theatre major originally from Appleton, WI. She transferred to Boston College after spending two years at a college in Iowa, and is absolutely thrilled to be in Bean Town! In her time at BC, she's costume designed two full mainstage shows, participated in the University Chorale, worked in the university costume shop, and continued her private voice lessons (show tunes and classical rep, wooo!). In her free time, she can be found baking, watercoloring, hiking, sewing clothing, and getting maybe a little too hyped when she spots a pug.

Chloe is a junior majoring in Film Studies and minoring in Marketing. She's from NYC but spent two years studying in Scotland after high school. She is always on the lookout for a great coffee spot and loves watching films, old and new, when she's not binge watching The Office. She is involved with BCTV, The Heights, and, of course, Ascend. She is so excited to be a part of the Ascend team this year and can't wait to meet the first-year women!

Connie is a senior from Dallas, Texas majoring in Sociology with a minor in Biology. She is going into her third year as a resident assistant and works for Hillside Cafe on campus. She also serves as an undergraduate research fellow in the sociology department for a project on Alzheimer's. In her spare time, she loves going to coffee shops, hanging out with friends, cooking, and running. Her favorite food is sushi, prefers mustard over ketchup, and loves anything with chocolate.

Courtney is a senior in CSOM studying Finance and Computer Science and is originally from Milwaukee, WI, but she now "lives" in Denver. She spends her time on campus as a member of the Reflections Committee for the First Year Service Program and as a tour guide for SAP. Some of her favorite things include kittens, Vine compilations, exercising, trying new restaurants, shopping without actually buying anything, and attempting (and failing) to break her coffee addiction. She's super excited to be an Ascend lead for the second year and meet all the first-year women!

Danni is a senior in CSOM concentrating in Marketing and Business Analytics, with a minor in history. Originally from Long Island, NY, Danni is excited to be moving to Boston after graduation. If you ever want to chat about life, the moon, or how to make every season spooky, you can always find her in Fulton or camping out in Addies!

Divya is a post-junior (she’s in denial that she’s a senior and graduating this year) majoring in Biology on the premed track. She is originally from Portland, Oregon, and loves hiking/all things nature! She enjoys being tagged in dog videos/memes on Facebook and also loves watching greys anatomy. She is a huge fan of coffee so you’ll probably catch her at the chocolate bar spending money she doesn’t have.

Elizabeth is a pre-law junior in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences pursuing a dual degree in English and Psychology (B.S.). Her hometown is Norwood, Massachusetts. She plans to attend law school and pursue a career in the legal field. Some of her hobbies include reading, writing, dancing, watching movies, and listening to music. Elizabeth can't wait to be a part of Ascend this year!

Emily is a senior Biology major and Medical Humanities minor from North Babylon, New York. She is the treasurer for GlobeMed, a radio show host with WZBC, and a leader with Outdoor Adventures. Someone she is also in charge of Art Club. She loves going on hikes, attending concerts, and petting random dogs. If you ever need a buddy to indulge in some late night instant ramen or pasta, she's there. She is super pumped to be a part of Ascend this year!

Erica is a senior double major in Economics and Communication in A&S from Westport, Connecticut. She also runs track and cross country for the Women's Varsity Track/Field team and works at the McMullen museum of art. Erica also really loves peanut m&ms and yoga. Her favorite pastime is watching the "satisfying snaps" on the discover part of snapchat and also loves going on Twitter. She was a lead last year and cannot wait to be a part of another great year!

Gabriella (Gab) is a current junior majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in History.  She is from Chino Hills, CA and has been a member of the Boston College Dance Ensemble since her freshman year.  She currently works as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Welkin Johnson's Lab, researching endogenous retroviruses.  If she's not cloning mutant plasmids, at dance practice, or studying for an exam, she's probably re-bingeing Criminal Minds or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, looking at pictures of her cat back home, at the Plex, or online window shopping.  She is so excited to be a part of the Ascend program this year!

Grace is a senior majoring in Economics and minoring in Management and Leadership from Marblehead, MA. In her time at BC, she has been involved in BC Bigs, PULSE, the Women's Club Squash team, and the Smart Women Securities Club on the E-Board and Investment Board. She also participated in BC's Catalyst Summer Management Program, as well as studied abroad in Rome, Italy. In her free time, Grace enjoys running, traveling, and discovering new brunch spots. She is excited to be part of the Ascend program this year!

Haley is a senior from Danvers, Massachusetts studying Applied Psychology and English in LSOE. On campus, she is involved in Christian Life Community, Appalachia Volunteers, and is an RA in Walsh! She loves Boston sports, the ocean, and ice cream (you can find her at White Mountain more often than she’d care to admit). She is so excited to spend her final year at BC with the wonderful women in the Ascend program!

Hanna is a senior double majoring in Elementary Education and Applied Psychology. She is from Los Gatos, California but has also lived in Denver, Colorado and Wellesley, Massachusetts. She spends her free time reading, eating chocolate, watching Disney movies, and looking at photos of her golden retriever, Flynn. She is stoked to be an Ascend lead this year!

Jenna is a senior Psychology BS major with a minor in Management and Leadership from East Longmeadow, MA. She is an avid corn muffin eater and dog lover and you can most often find her running up and down Heartbreak Hill, avoiding escalators, or reading a super tacky crime novel from the grocery store.

Jillian is a senior majoring in biology, hoping to become a physician's assistant. She is from Rutland, Vermont, and has very strong opinions about maple syrup. After spending a semester abroad in Scotland, she was inspired to get more involved in her life at BC by joining Sub Turri, becoming a Global Mentor, and joining Ascend. In her free time, she can probably be found singing along to her newest Spotify playlist, reminiscing about abroad, making vine references with her friends, or doing excessive amounts of online window-shopping. She's so excited to be a part of Ascend this year!

Katia is a senior Biology major from Mendham, New Jersey. She is involved in the BC Public Health Club, the Office of Health Promotion, and sustainability efforts on campus. She love dogs and one of her favorite things to do is bake, and run especially when it's nice out!

Katrina is a senior majoring in Psychology from Harvard, Massachusetts (NO she does not live at Harvard University but thank you so much for asking). Aside from Ascend, Katrina spends her time as a marketing intern for a publishing company and tutoring young kids. She enjoys running, playing basketball, listening to country music, lying on the floor, and petting dogs. If you can't find Katrina she is almost definitely in Bapst eating cheez-its. She is thrilled to be a part of Ascend and can't wait to meet her wonderful first-year women!

Kelsey is a senior English major with a Faith, Peace, and Justice minor. She is from Basking Ridge, NJ and just returned from studying abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France. At BC, she has been a Graphics Editor and Outreach Coordinator for The Heights, a Kairos Leader, part of Appa, and involved with Creative Kids. You can find her in the Chocolate Bar (with a vanilla latte), Hillside, or running the Res. She is very excited to meet and make memories with her Ascend group this year!

Katia is a senior Biology major from Mendham, New Jersey. She is involved in the BC Public Health Club, the Office of Health Promotion, and sustainability efforts on campus. She love dogs and one of her favorite things to do is bake, and run especially when it's nice out!

Ky is a senior majoring in Psychology B.A. and spends most of her time buying things from Sephora, playing her violin, reading, and cooking or baking. Mainly, she’s just trying to procrastinate having to figure out her life.

Maddie is a senior in CSOM studying Operations & Business Analytics. She is from Glenview, IL, meaning she loves Chicago, Deep Dish Pizza, and the Cubs. She’s a manager for the women’s basketball team, a member of Boston College Dance Marathon, and an executive on Class Councils. Maddie loves her English bulldog, Beyoncé, playing Spikeball, attempting (and mostly failing) at winning an intramural mug, watching HGTV, and reading murder mysteries. She can’t wait to spend her last year at BC with Ascend!

Maggie is a senior double majoring in English and Secondary Education, with (very close) dreams of becoming a high school teacher. She is from Raleigh, North Carolina and spends her time on campus playing rugby for the club team and answering emails for the First Year Service Program. In her free time, she loves to write and paint, and is planning an epic summer trip abroad - destination TBD. She can't wait to meet everyone in Ascend!

Michaela is a senior majoring in Political Science. She loves crosswords, yogurt covered pretzels, iced coffee, long walks, the real estate section of the newspaper, Billy Joel, and going dancing. Her favorite books are The Catcher in the Rye and Snow Falling on Cedars, and she is always looking for more recommendations. When she is not doing schoolwork or running around Boston College in her crocs, Michaela is an avid bullet journalist, doodling and planning her life. She’s obsessed with belonging to and building authentic communities of women-- naturally landing her in Ascend. Catch her over a diner breakfast plotting the dismantling of the patriarchy!

Molly F. is a junior in Lynch studying Applied Psych and Communication. Due to her inability to decide on a future career, she has also picked up a minor in Managing for Social Impact. She spends much of her time in Bapst, even though she went there for the first time this year. When not in Bapst, she’ll likely be sharing events on Facebook for RHA and GLC. A self-care queen, Molly also enjoys running (slowly), sleeping (a lot), and watching TV (the Great British Baking Show). She is so excited to be a part of Ascend and meet incredible first year women!

Molly C. is a junior from Kingston, MA studying Perspectives and Political Science. She loves singing (you might have seen her onstage at Pops on the Heights this year) and sings with the Liturgy Arts Group here. She has been involved with Agape Latte and several retreats on campus. She is so excited to get to know her freshmen through Ascend this year!

Morgan is a junior from Dallas, Texas, majoring in Economics and minoring in Studio Arts with a concentration in Photography. In addition to Ascend, she is on the Women's Club Ultimate Frisbee team and works in the darkroom in Devlin. She can usually be found with a Diet Coke in hand, playing Mario Kart with her roommates, or taking pictures of pretty light around campus. She is super excited to be a part of Ascend this year, and can't wait to meet everyone!

Neringa is a junior studying biology on the pre-med track. She was originally born in Lithuania and came over to the U.S. when she was four years old and has lived in New Jersey ever since. In her spare time, she really enjoys hanging out with friends, playing volleyball, or just watching reality TV (Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Botched, and The Bachelor/Bachelorette are her three favorites)! She also really loves cooking so if you're hungry, feel free to stop by 2k! She’s really looking forward to meeting all of you and can't wait for an awesome Ascend experience for everyone!

Ramya is a senior majoring in Nursing from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. When she isn't in the Boston hospitals for one of her clinical rotations, she can be found giving tours and panels on campus as part of the Student Admissions Program. She also loves going to events for Hawaii Club, where she gets free food and learns to dance the Hula. Ramya enjoys reading, swimming, listening to music, playing Mario Kart or Just Dance, and having fun chats with her roommates. She's wicked excited to meet and make memories with all of her first year women!

Sarah B. is a senior double majoring in Applied Psychology and Biology. She’s from Montgomery, NY, and she is Co-Captain of the Boston College Club Figure Skating Team and a Class Representative for the LSOE Honors Program (#riphonors). In her free time you can catch her at the Plex, listening to music, enjoying long strolls around the res, or at White Mountain switching up her order for the millionth time. She is super excited to get to know the amazing first year women participating in Ascend!

Sarah M. is a senior in MCAS from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is currently studying English with a minor in biology and a concentration in creative writing. When she’s not in class, Sarah can be found working in the Law Library or in Stokes, where she interns for BC’s professional literary Journal, Post Road. Outside of Ascend, Sarah is involved on campus as a Bystander trainer and a Kairos leader, and in her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, painting, baking bread, and pointing out to her roommates why Pittsburgh sports teams are obviously superior to New England ones.

Sonja is a senior from Brookline, Massachusetts, majoring in Applied Psychology and English. On Campus, she is a member of the Cheerleading Team, Laughing Medusa Council, 48 Hours Lead, and lives in Ruby with her three best friends. She is in the process of applying to graduate schools with the hopes of earning her Masters of Social Work within the next two years. If you ever see a girl on campus with a labradoodle, it is probably Sonja walking her puppy, Bowie. Bowie loves the BC campus, attending tailgates, and watching his sister, Sonja, cheer on the sidelines.

Tiffany is a senior double concentrating in Information Systems in Finance, and minoring in Managing for Social Impact and the Public Good. She comes from eastern Washington state, closer to Idaho. Her interests include authentic and empowering conversations over warm beverages and/or meals, museums dates, and baking/cooking with friends. Outside of class, she can typically be found at a coffee shop with a book in one hand and a chocolate croissant in the other.
