BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Graduate student Danielle Winslow will represent Boston College in the 3000m steeplechase at the 2016 NCAA Division I Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships, to be held June 8-11 in Eugene, Oregon.
- Winslow finished eighth in the event at the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round held in Jacksonville, Florida last weekend to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
- She crossed the line with a time of 9:59.59.
- Winslow's best time this season was a 9:48.81, which is also the new school record. She was the ACC champion in the event, leading start to finish to set a new facility record.
- Four other Eagles competed in the NCAA East Preliminary last weekend, including sophomore Laura Leff who also competed in the steeplechase. She finished 34th with a time of 10:33.37.
- Graduate student Liv Westphal and sophomore Isabelle Kennedy both ran in the 5000m event. Westphal (16:22.01) finished 13th, one spot shy of qualifying for the NCAA Championships, while Kennedy (16:25.25) placed 15th.
- Sophomore Molly McCabe competed in the 800m race, finishing with a time of 2:12.42.
