Eagles Eye Gold in Sochi

A trio of Eagles will skate for the U.S. Women's team this month.

When you catch the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, this month, keep an eye out for Eagles representing the stars and stripes.

BC Law student Caitlin Cahow, JD’14, a previous silver and bronze medalist and two-time World Champion during her tenure on the U.S. Women’s Ice Hockey team, was chosen by President Barack Obama as one of his Olympic delegates.

Current Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik ’02 will skate with the U.S. Men’s Ice Hockey team for the second time in his career. And a trio of current or former Eagles—Molly Schaus ’11, Kelly Stack ’11, and Alex Carpenter ’15—will take the ice for the U.S. Women’s team.
