January (Spring semester) candidates who complete applications by the November 1 deadline, will be emailed their admission decision on or about December 15. September (Fall semester) candidates who complete applications by the March 15 deadline will be emailed their admission decision by May 20.
TRANSFER ADMITTED STUDENT WEBSITE
Once admitted, students will receive a link to the Transfer Admitted Student website. This site contains information about various aspects of life at Boston College, including residential life, advising, and co-curricular organizations. Additionally, the Transfer Admitted Student website contains important information about understanding how your course credits will transfer to Boston College.
ENROLLMENT CONFIRMATION FEE
Admitted students should make note of the enrollment deadline and enrollment fees. Once admitted, a student will be able to enroll through the Transfer Admitted Student website.
DEFERRING YOUR ADMISSION
Admitted students who wish to begin studies at a later date may defer enrollment at Boston College for as little as one semester to as long as two years. Deferment should be requested in writing to the Office of Undergraduate Admission by the enrollment deadline. Housing previously offered will be guaranteed; however, the student must reapply for financial aid during the application cycle immediately preceding the date of desired entry.
By deferring admission, students must understand that until they enroll at Boston College, they may not take college-level courses at another college or university, as this would alter the academic record upon which they were accepted.
