FAQ - Who to Contact?
Have you ever wondered who you should contact when you have a web question? Well I hope this list will prove helpful.
Get an Account on www.bc.edu
Accounts are available to all schools, departments and organizations. Just be sure to complete the InfoProvider form. One form must be filled out for each person contributing to the website.
Aliases, Password Protected Sites, FileMaker Pro, Streaming Content
Contact the webmaster for help with aliases, a password for your site, space to host a FileMaker Pro database, posting Streaming Content or other related technology questions about the web environment. The webmaster is not involved in content decisions at BC.
Featured Link Or Event
Contact the Office of Public Affairs to get a featured link or event on the BC Home Page.
Problems with FTP or username and pin
Any computer related problems you might be having should be reported to your TC or the Help desk. They will then create a Heat ticket describing your problem.
Heat is the system Information Technology uses to keep track of computer related problems. All Heat tickets are forwarded to the appropriate technical person for resolution. If one person is not available, there is usually a call list of technical people to contact.
Group Email
Your department or organization may request a group email account. Multiple people can have access to this account.
