The Boston College School of Theology and Ministry brings together the extensive resources of the Weston Jesuit School of Theology (to be known as the Ecclesiastical Faculty at Boston College), and the Boston College Institute of Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry to prepare both ordained and lay ministers for service to the worldwide Church. The school will also incorporate the Church in the 21st Century Online, a program that provides ongoing adult spiritual formation. In collaboration with the Boston College theology department, the new school reflects Boston College’s commitment to provide superior theological education and formation for ministry in the United States and around the world.
