About Us Issues Pass The Pulse World Pulse Peer Pulse How to Submit

This is the place to find your pulse.

GenerationPulse is a network of young people who seek to better themselves and others through writing and art. By exchanging experiences that shape our lives and by reaching out to others, we can find the unique pulse of our generation. This year, the site focuses on youth survivors of Hurricane Katrina. On Peer Pulse, read stories and responses from other youth around the country. Share your pulse by submitting your own stories or art. Pass the Pulse by getting the inside scoop on college, community outreach opportunities, and summer programs. Read about important issues that youth face everyday on the Issues Page. Learn how our generation sees the world and strives to use our powers for good to help in the World Pulse section. To get started, please take a minute to fill out our fun poll, then read more About Us.

Thank You, Brandon

I never could beat Brandon in Nintendo track and field. It seemed no matter how hard I ran in place on that old Nintendo power pad, I lost in the end. Whether it was the long jump, the hurdles, or the 100 meter dash, the results were always the same. I lost and Brandon won. Brandon was better than me in all aspects of the game, but even more so, he was knowledgeable in the aspects of life. I guess that is why I admire him. I guess that is why he is my role model Click to finish "Thank You, Brandon"
