GenerationPulse is a national network of young people who seek to better
themselves and others by sharing art, photography, writing, and music.
By providing a safe online community, GenerationPulse invites young
people to exchange experiences that shape their lives, and to reach
out to displaced and disenfranchised youth. Once given a voice in a
community of peers, and once given the chance to interact with other
young people from different backgrounds and social circumstances, these
youths are inspired and empowered to become catalysts for social justice...
After Hurricane Katrina, there were many, many people who were displaced
throughout the country. Our professor at Boston College, Dr. Belle Liang,
had an idea. We would create a website to reach out to adolescents...
