2012 AJCU CITM Conference

for information technology management and library deans

MARCH 4 - 7, 2012

Welcome to the 2012 AJCU CITM and
Library Deans Conference!

Dear AJCU Colleagues,

We are thrilled to welcome you, the Library and Information Technology leadership of Jesuit
colleges and universities, to the city of Boston and to Boston College. It is a pleasure and an honor
for us to host such a distinguished group.

In the short time we are together, much will be accomplished. We will conduct our Conference’s business and consider weighty issues facing our professions and higher education in the context of our Jesuit heritage. This is indeed a great opportunity for collaboration, critical inquiry and reflective dialog at an exciting juncture for Libraries and Information Technology.

We hope you enjoy the conference and your visit
to our beautiful campus in Chestnut Hill. We also hope that, in addition to the outstanding
conference program we have assembled, you will
get to experience the history, excitement and
charm of Boston. There is so much to see and to experience including many historic sites, charming old neighborhoods such as the Italian North End
and historic Beacon Hill, great cultural sites such as the Museum of Fine Arts and the John F. Kennedy Museum and Library, and beautiful public spaces such as the Boston Public Garden, Boston Common and Charles River Esplanade.

Our entire BC team is available to help ensure
that your visit is a memorable one. If you need
help with anything while you are here in Boston,
please do not hesitate to ask or call our
conference concierge at 617-552-AJCU.

Cheers,

Tom Wall, University Librarian
Rita Owens, Academic Technology
Michael Bourque, CIO, CITM Conference Chair
