summer session 2015

Tuition, Audit Charge and Registration Fee

All fees and tuition charges are due and payable in full at the time of registration. The 2015 tuition rate is $744 per credit. A three-credit course is $2232. For science courses carrying a lab fee, the fee is $200. For those wishing to audit a course, the fee is $1116. The registration fee is $45.

Boston College reserves the right to change or withdraw offerings if necessary and alter fees and charges from those published, without prior notice.

Payment may be made by e-check or credit card. New students will be activated in the BC system within 24 hours of registration, and may then pay via e-check or credit card through the Agora portal. Continuing Woods College
may pay through the Agora portal as soon as they have registered for summer courses.

Students whose tuition is paid by some form of tuition assistance must submit documentation with the registration form and pay all fees.

Housing fees are to be mailed directly to Residential Life.

Financial Aid Benefits

Many corporations offer tuition plans for their full-time employees; check employee benefits, tuition-aid assistance and release-time programs. Financial aid is distributed through the college in which a student is pursuing a degree. For Woods College students, available financial aid for summer study is limited and based on need.

Withdrawals and Refunds

To withdraw from a course, the student must complete a course withdrawal form in the Summer Session Office, McGuinn 100, or direct a letter of withdrawal to the Summer Session Office. Tuition and laboratory fees are refundable; the registration fee is non-refundable.

The refund schedule is 100% refund for all courses dropped on or before the second class meeting (for First Session, the week of May 12 to May 15; for Second Session, the week of June 22 to June 26).  There are no refunds after these dates.
