The Introduction to Psychology Seminar

This course covers four units: history of psychology, clinical skills, psychopathology, and research methods (with special topic in neuropsychology). Through a multi-modal class design incorporating lectures, readings, film, field-trips to outstanding Boston institutions, and hands-on class participation in clinical diagnosis, therapy, and case presentation, students gain experience as real-life professionals in the mental health field.

This course is open to BCE students only. Admitted BCE students will automatically be registered by the BCE Program office

A Day in the Life...

8:30 am - Breakfast

10:00 am - Morning Class

12:00 pm - Lunch and social time

1:30 pm - Afternoon Class 

3:30 pm - Afternoon Seminar - The College Essay

5:30 pm - Dinner

7:00 pm - Time to study or head to the Plex to work out or play games/movies in the dorm

Eligibility: Students entering grades 10, 11 & 12
