Computing Services

The Information Technology Services Help Center, is located in O'Neill Library. The facility includes a technology Help Desk in Room 248. Multimedia software and hardware are located in O'Neill 205. Computers with general productivity and research software are on the third floor behind the Reference Desk, and printers are on the first and third floors. Valid BC ID required.

Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr. Library

The Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr. Library contains over a million volumes and nearly 17,000 serial subscriptions. Summer students are encouraged to get to know the library resources quickly. All BCE students are granted full library privileges with their identification card.

Campus Bookstore

The Boston College Bookstore is the place for textbooks, bestsellers, study aids, stationery, college supplies, gifts, B.C. clothing and small items such as newspapers and snacks. The bookstore is located on the first floor of McElroy Commons.

Campus Recreation

The William J. Flynn Recreation Complex includes a 10,000 square foot fitness center available to BCE participants through the BCE Program Office. More information is provided at orientation.

Dining Facilities

With your ID card and meal plan you will have access to a number of on campus locations. BC Dining Services has at least one location open for breakfast, two for lunch and one for dinner please visit their website at /dining  and click on hours.

Health Services

The University Health Service Clinic is located in Cushing Hall. It is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m.; Friday 9 to 3 p.m. The clinic provides emergency treatment of minor injuries or illness and willingly acts as liaison with community doctors for any help necessary which the clinic cannot provide. Laundry Facilities

Laundry facilities are available in the residence hall at a rate of $1.50 per wash or dry cycle. All machines can be paid for with a swipe of your Eagle-One card (ID). You can add Eagle Bucks to your card through Agora. For more information on what you can do with your eagle card click here.

Recieving Mail & Packages

Students will receive their housing assignment when they arrive on campus for the program. UPS and FedEx will not deliver packages directly to residence halls. All packages, regardless of carrier, must be picked up at the campus mail room in McElroy Hall. Students will need to check the mail room regularly for incoming mail.

Parking

Parking is not available to residential students. Commuter students may purchase permits for approximately $235. The permit allows parking from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. Please contact the Office of Student Services for questions and to obtain passes.

Religious Services

Liturgy is offered on class days in St. Mary's Chapel Chapel at 8:00 a.m., and in the Church of St. Ignatius daily and on weekends.  For the Mass Schedule please visit Campus Ministry.

TUTORING SUPPORT

The Connors Family Learning Center offers free tutoring to Boston College students and is located in the second floor of O'Neill Library. Tutoring is provided by current BC students who have demonstrated excellent skills in a particular subject area. Appointments can be made over the phone or in person.
