Summer at STM Community and Events

school of theology and ministry

Daily Worship
The diverse student community comes together not only in the classroom, but also to pray and reflect during daily Mass and student-led prayer services.  Daily worship is celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday during both summer sessions. Students are invited to participate in liturgical ministries, including lector, ministers of Holy Communion, Eucharistic Bread bakers, acolytes, and music ministers.

Summer Weekly All-School Mass and Repast

A weekly repast is offered on Wednesday afternoons following liturgy offering a simple lunch around which the community can gather.  View a video from our academic year Liturgy and Lunch events.

"Tasty Tuesdays"
The STM hosts a coffee and pastries event each Tuesday morning during the summer sessions.  This is a great opportunity to meet other students, talk with faculty, or sort out any questions with STM staff members.  Coffee will be available during breaks, Monday-Thursday.

Theology and Ministry Library (TML)

The services and collections of the TML, located at 117 Lake Street in the heart of the Brighton campus, are dedicated to supporting the curricular and research needs of the faculty, students, and staff of the STM. TML staff members look forward to meeting summer students and are excited to be of service. The staff of the TML hopes students will visit often to enjoy the beautiful setting and to use the many resources provided in support of their studies. For additional information, please visit the TML's webpage.
