DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO IREPM
From Points North and South:
Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) to Route 9 East. Proceed east on Route 9, also known as Boylston Street, past the Chestnut Hill Mall to Hammond Street. Turn left and follow around the curves until Beacon Street. Turn right onto Beacon, and at the next possible right, turn onto Lawrence Avenue. The IREPM is #31. From Points West:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) to Exit 17. At the first set of lights after the exit ramp, take a right onto Centre Street. Follow Centre Street through Newton Centre (probably five or six sets of lights). Turn left onto Beacon Street. Follow for a mile and a half or so onto campus. Lawrence Avenue will be a right turn off of Beacon, about halfway down the block from the first main campus buildings you see. The IREPM is #31. View the Chestnut Hill campus map for further details.
From Downtown Boston:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) to Exit 17. Take a left over the bridge after passing the Sheraton Tara Hotel. Take the first right onto Centre Street. Follow Centre Street through Newton Centre (probably five or six sets of lights). Turn left onto Beacon Street. Follow it for a mile and a half or so onto campus. Lawrence Avenue will be a right turn off of Beacon, about halfway down the block from the first main campus buildings you see. The IREPM is #31. View the Chestnut Hill campus map for further details.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO IREPM
Depending on where you are coming from, all three green lines, the B Boston College, C Cleveland Circle and D Riverside, will get you to Boston College. The walks from the "Boston College" stop on the B line and the "Chestnut Hill" stop on the D line to the IREPMboth take approximately 10 minutes. Come out of the station and take a right onto Hammond Street.
Follow Hammond to the Connolly House of Boston College, a large gray house. Find it on the Chestnut Hill campus map
Walk under the portico of Connolly House and around the carriage house to Lawrence Avenue
The IREPM will be the first house on your left, 31 Lawrence Avenue, a gray house.
"T" Fares:
HOW TO GET FROM LOGAN AIRPORT TO BC IREPM
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. Follow the signs in the airport to the public transportation. A free shuttle bus picks up passengers in front of the airline terminals and brings them to the Airport subway stop (known as the "T"). Take the Blue Line subway inbound to Government Center. At Government Center change (go upstairs) to the Boston College Green Line outbound train, i.e. Line B to Boston College. Stay on the train to the end of the line. CAR: From Logan International Airport, Boston,MA, go NE on Lower Terminal Rd for 120 feet. Continue onto Airport Exit (0.9 miles) Enter on ramp to I-90 W (Mass Pike, Massachusetts Tpk, Ted Williams Tun) Continue on I-90 W (Mass Pike, Massachusetts Tpk, Ted Williams Tun) for approx. 6 miles. The toll for the tunnel is $3.50 and the toll for the Mass Pike is $1.25.

TAXI/SHUTTLE: There are many taxi companies in the Chestnut Hill and Boston areas. They are generally reliable but they are expensive. It is usually best to circle where on campus you will be going and to give the map to the cab driver.

Back Bay Shuttle is a reliable transport from the airport to various areas around Boston or from Boston College to the airport.
