Murray Graduate Center (MGC)
A welcoming place with lots of FREEBIES! The center has everything from a cup of coffee to DVD rentals. MGC has computers and printers for student use, TVs, couches, dining area, a reading room, and even a fridge for guest use and, its all FREE! The MGC provides a space which offers opportunities to gather for discussion, presentations, reflection, meals and social functions. Grad students can reserve rooms for various forums or club activities. It is a great place to catch some R & R between your day and evening class because its usually open untill 11:00 pm M-TH and even on weekend afternoons!

Graduate Student Association (GSA)
The GSA hosts a number of events including monthly Wine & Cheese gatherings at Tonic, a local bar. GSA also coordinates an annual Winter GSA Ball. GSA hosts monthly meetings, if you would like to give your input or get involved.

Cleveland Circle
An off-campus local BC hangout that is accessible from the BC Shuttle on the Commonwealth route. There is a movie theatre (with ridiculous prices, so be sure to get your discounted student tickets at the McElroy ticket booth), Cityside Grille, CVS, and the Eagle deli, which has great sandwiches, hardware store, pizza shop and more!

The Undergraduate Government of Boston College (UGBC)
UGBC often sponsors phenomenal lectures and community events that are of interest to all members of the BC Community. This information usually goes undetected by graduate students because no one thinks to tap into undergraduate social calendars! They have sponsored such speakers as Cornell West and Maya Angelou, and are definitely worth checking out.

Boston College Sports
BC has football, basketball, hockey, baseball, soccer, lacrosse and many other intercollegiate sporting events. Please see the Boston College Official Athletic Site for schedules and how to purchase tickets.
