ARCHDIOCESAN COORDINATOR OF THE CATHOLIC BIBLICAL SCHOOL

The Coordinator of the Catholic Biblical School is responsible for teaching Sacred Scripture and for administering the Catholic Biblical School. The Biblical School is a four-year program of adult education. The students meet for 30 weeks each year. Every book of the Bible is studied. Approximately 50 new students matriculate each year. There are also continuing education opportunities for Biblical School graduates.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Teach some of the classes.
* Develop publicity for the Biblical School to attract new students. This requires coordination with the parishes within the Archdiocese and working with The Catholic Transcript and the Office of Radio & TV.
* Interview and select potential students.
* Maintain student attendance and assignment records.
* Schedule classes and arrange for sites in locations around the Archdiocese.
*Arrange for the purchase and distribution of the various textbooks.
*Coordinate faculty members for locations and assignments.
Seek out new faculty members as needed. Provide support and materials for faculty. Ensure that faculty is well-trained and is following the requirements of the Biblical School.
* Schedule semi-annual prayer days and speakers.
*Arrange for and coordinate ceremonies for the Basic Certificate (completion of two years) and the Advanced Certificate (completion of the full program. Arrange for payments of fees for faculty and site rentals.

UNIVERSITY INTERFAITH CHAPLAIN
Roger Williams University is a private, non-denominational and accredited University that seeks a University Interfaith Chaplain who will serve the spiritual needs of our students and University Community. The Interfaith Chaplain will provide opportunities for personal religious growth of members of the University Community through worship, counseling, workshops, and programming events. Under the direction of the Associate Dean of Students/Director of the Intercultural Center, the Chaplain will convene affiliated chaplains on a regular basis to coordinate spiritual support, facilitate monthly Interfaith Council meetings, minister special services, and coordinate religious life on campus. The Interfaith Chaplain will be open and affirming to all cultural and social identities and also serve as part of the Intercultural Center staff team. In addition, the Chaplain will act as an objective and independent mediator between various groups when needed, help promote community outreach, and be an advocate for spiritual life resources. This is a 10-month, part-time position open to any religious affiliation. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to respond to the needs of all faiths, including but not limited to Muslim, Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish faiths.
Ordination is required as is 1 – 3 years or more of ministry experience. A Master’s degree in Theology, Divinity, Religious Studies, or equivalent is preferred. Experience on a higher education campus is a plus.

DIRECTOR OF CHRISTIAN FAITH FORMATION
St. Patrick Church in Milford, NH seeks a Full-Time Director of Christian Formation/Education for our faith community. St. Patrick’s is an active and vibrant parish committed to the Gospel and the empowerment of God’s people. Our religious education program provides catechetical instruction to approximately 800 young people from kindergarten through tenth grade to include RCIC and sacramental preparation for First Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation. Candidate will be expected to coordinate youth activities that include faith and spiritual formation; leadership and discipleship development; commitment to service and social growth. The director will adhere to and educate catechists in accord with Diocesan regulations regarding a safe environment. The Director will be expected to work collaboratively with other staff members and participate in staff meetings, Parish Council meetings and other gatherings that support the needs of the parish. Candidates must be Roman Catholic, possess an understanding of youngsters and adolescents and their spiritual development, and hold a Master’s Degree in religious education, theology or the equivalent. Description
The Veritas Forum seeks a Northeast Regional Director to assume primary oversight for supporting and guiding Veritas Forum events and development in the Northeastern states. This position is designed to enable the organization to maintain its cadence of growth while ensuring focus on its core mission.
The regional director will be responsible for expanding the breadth and depth of Veritas Forums in the Northeastern region of the country by coaching existing planning teams and developing forums on new campuses in the region. Other responsibilities include identifying potential speakers, nurturing strategic partnerships, and developing new topics.
Qualifications
At least 4 years of full-time work experience and some experience with campus ministry. Passion for the university, intellectual grasp of the strategic role of the university and its ideas in our culture. Self-starter requiring little supervision, excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to travel across the region to develop new campuses, coach planning teams, and attend forums; work closely with undergraduates, graduate students, ministers, and faculty; and manage administrative responsibilities. Spiritually mature Christian with a devotion to biblical values and principles. Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree preferred.
Hours: 15 hours/week; 12 weeks each for fall and spring semesters; flexible schedule
Pay: $20-25/hour
Start date: position available immediately
Location: anywhere in the Northeast, preferably near a major airport
