Summer Courses and Workshops Registration Form

INFORMATION

This Form is for WEB Registration. Please read all instructions carefully. Institute degree students who have PIN numbers have the option to use the University's U-DIAL registration system. All students must be registered for courses before the courses begin.

Registrations should be received (including payment) by the Friday prior to the start of each two-week summer session. If your course registration is received by mail after Friday, June 6th (for Session I); Friday, June 20nd (for Session II); and Thursday, July 3th (for Session III), your confirmation of registration and your name tag(s) will be delivered to you on the first day of class. International student registrations received after June 1st will be processed, but confirmations and name tag(s) will not be mailed out. Instead they will be delivered to you in class on the first day. The Institute will be open for registration and drop/add at 8:00 am on the first day of each of the two-week summer sessions.

REGISTRATION AND NAME TAG REGISTRATION

Name Tags: All students must wear their name tags for admittance to class. Name tags will be mailed to you or delivered to class after your course registration is processed.

Registration for Financial Aid Recipients: Students who have applied for financial aid should wait until they have been notified of any scholarship (by April 1st) before registering. Complete the registration form and deduct the amount of your financial aid from your total tuition costs. If you have any problems calculating the amount you should be paying, call Donna DeRosa (617-552-8440 or toll free 1-800-487-1167) prior to sending in your form. If insufficient payment is attached to your registration, it will be returned to you unprocessed. A separate payment must accompany the submission of this form. Check or money order should be made payable to Boston College. Do not send cash. A confirmation postcard will be mailed to you upon receipt of your registration. The total amount will be tabulated for you after you submit this form. To pay by credit card, please call Donna DeRosa.

DROP/ADD AND REFUND INFORMATION

In-Person Drop/Add: Drop/adds must be done in person at the IREPM Office prior to the second class meeting. Students who add a course will be given new name tags at that time and must turn in their old ones.

On-Line Drop/Add: Students who drop/add on-line will need to request a new name tag from IREPM prior to the second meeting of the class.

Refunds
: Students who withdraw from a course before the first class meeting will receive a 100% refund. Students who withdraw before a course's second meeting will receive an 80% refund. Since no courses close out, you are guaranteed a spot in the course(s) of your choice.
PLEASE NOTE: Refunds are NOT available after the second class meeting. Refunds are also not available for workshops, audits or for courses changed from credit to audit. This is a policy of Boston College.
