5 Year BA/MEd
bachelor of arts and med religious education

Boston College undergraduates can apply for the MEd in their junior year, thus enabling them to complete both their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 5 years. The Master of Education in Religious Education focuses on developing an understanding of the theory and practice of religious education for teaching in primary and secondary schools, parish faith formation programs and adult religious education. Students who wish to tailor the MEd degree to their own unique educational/professional needs may select "no concentration." Students specializing in a particular area may choose to concentrate in either Total Community Catechesis (parish religious education) or School Religion Teaching.
