MA Pastoral Ministry

The MA in Pastoral Ministry degree program prepares students to serve in a variety of ministries in the church and the world: management and administration of churches and church-related organizations, youth ministry in a parish, high school or college ministry, religious education in a parish, teaching in a Catholic or other Christian school, hospital chaplaincy and retreat director, among others. Students who wish to tailor the MA degree course requirements to their unique ministerial/professional needs may select "no concentration." This allows a student the greatest flexibility in choosing courses that meet their individual needs. Students specializing in a particular area of ministry may select from one of the nine concentrations.
