Thinking Forward in Ministry
For 36 years the IREPM has been forming lay and religious ministers who respond to the changing environments of the church and its people. IREPM's faculty scholars and evolving academic programs provide the constructs for historical and contemporary analysis, reflection and dialogue around the questions of faith and church that are core to ministry practice.
Creating Community
The IREPM community includes students, faculty and staff, alumni/ae and friends. This community is diverse and inclusive and is present within the world on local and international levels. Social justice programs are developed and implemented by current students in the Boston Metro Area, and 2000 Alumni/ae of the program are living throughout the world in over 30 countries including Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Korea, India, Iraq, Lithuania, Canada, Ireland, Scotland, England and Italy.
Theology & Ministry Partnerships
The strong graduate education that IREPM offers is additionally enhanced by the academic programs of its partners, particularly the BC Department of Theology. The Boston Theological Institute is a consortium of theology schools throughout Boston and enrollment at these schools is open to all IREPM degree students. Another main collaborator is the Church in the 21st Century.
