Pyne Memorial Presentations:
Ministry with Persons with Disabilities

VIDEO ARCHIVE RESOURCES

This lecture series was initiated at Weston Jesuit School of Theology in 1991, and continued at the School of Theology and Ministry upon its founding in 2008.

Professor Margaret Pyne, in whose memory this lecture series is named, was a lifelong advocate for persons with disabilities.  A former Associate Dean of Special Education at Lesley College, Margaret Pyne had a particular vision of the need to educate theological students about ministry for and with persons with special needs.

Thanks to the Pyne Endowment Trust established by Margaret Pyne's estate, the topic of ministry with persons with disabilities is front and center in STM’s Continuing Education program on an annual basis.
