St. Joseph Parish in Needham is seeking a qualified applicant to serve as the parish Director of Faith Formation/Religious Education for grades kindergarten through six.  Our parish uses the traditional model of religious instruction with experiential opportunities to help our young people develop a relationship with Jesus. The Director is responsible for coordinating the curricula and facilitating the catechesis of children in kindergarten through grade 6.  The DFF is responsible for the formation of catechists and the sacramental preparation of children receiving First Reconciliation/First Eucharist.  The DFF works collaboratively with the parish school principal and teachers in helping the parents/guardians prepare for the sacramental experiences of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. We are looking for a faith-filled and dedicated person who will facilitate mandated safety programming for grades K to 6, lead and form volunteer catechists, coordinate RCIA for children, and work collaboratively with the parish staff.  Strong organizational and computer skills are needed.  Masters Degree preferred.  This is a full-time position.
