Central Vermont Catholic School
Central Vermont Catholic School, a joint parish Pre-S – 8 school serving 100 boys and girls in Barre, Vermont, seeks a highly qualified principal to begin as soon as possible. Central Vermont Catholic School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Central Vermont Catholic School was consolidated in 2009 with the joining of St. Michael’s School in Montpelier and St. Monica’s School in Barre. A dedicated staff of teachers, involved parents and caring parishes make up the wonderful Central Vermont Community.
Applicant must be a practicing Catholic, have experience in directing an excellent academic elementary school, and the ability to build upon a school with a strong Catholic Identity where teachers and students flourish. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Candidate must hold or be working toward a Master’s degree in education
• Minimum 3 years teaching or administrative experience
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Must demonstrate strong financial management
• Experience in development and marketing
