College of the Holy Cross
The College of the Holy Cross is seeking an Assistant Chaplain who will direct the liturgical music program of the College. Responsibilities include preparing and directing the music and music ministers for three weekend Masses, the Paschal Triduum and holydays, seasonal reconciliation services, major College liturgical celebrations, ecumenical evening prayer liturgies for summer orientation, multi-faith celebrations, and Taizé Prayer for retreats. Additional campus ministry responsibilities includes leadership of some international immersion trips, pastoral care with undergraduate students.
Masters Degree in Liturgical Music or Master of Divinity with musical training and experience; command of a broad range of liturgical music styles; proficiency in choral direction, cantor training and instrumental accompaniment; ability to write parts for various instruments; freedom to work Sundays and some evenings, Saturdays and holidays; and commitment to ministry with undergraduate students in a Jesuit, Catholic college.
