Campus Ministry

Director of Campus Ministry
Bishop Fenwick High School
Peabody, MA

The Director of Campus Ministry at Bishop Fenwick High School is a full time position which encompasses responsibility for animating and enabling the Catholic character of the entire community in the areas of worship, ministry, service, and community building. Responsibilities include: coordination of the peer ministry, social justice, and retreat programs; planning school liturgies and prayer; promoting community service; and participation on the Principal's Council. The ideal candidate is dynamic, creative, student-centered, and team oriented.
Bishop Fenwick High School was founded in 1959 by the late Richard Cardinal Cushing and was named for the second Bishop of Boston, Benedict Joseph Fenwick, SJ. The school was the first coeducational Catholic high school on the North Shore and was staffed by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The 500 students travel to the 59-acre campus - located 20 miles north of Boston - from 46 communities in Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Parents seek the Fenwick experience for their sons and daughters because they want a school that offers strong academic, spiritual, and athletic programs, emphasizes self-discipline, and supports the development of moral character.
