Career Placement

school of theology and ministry

95% job placement rate six months after graduation

An education at the STM provides knowledge, formation, and skills that are assets in many fields. In addition to traditional ministries, many students work in medicine, business, and education. Our placement services and career resources guide students in seeking a vocational path that is appropriate to their particular interests and talents.

Jacqueline Regan, STM associate dean of student affairs, provides personalized placement assistance, publishes an annual Resume Book of STM graduates sent to over one hundred employers nationwide, and works with the BC Career Center to tailor workshops to the needs of STM students. Employment notices are posted regularly on the STM website so that prospective graduates have access to the most up-to-date job opportunities from employers seeking STM graduates. In 2017, the STM had a 98% job placement rate for its graduates six months after graduation.

Workshops

We offer a number of workshops to help students prepare for their next steps beyond the STM. These events help students develop skills and strategies for job interviews and doctoral applications, as well as providing opportunities to connect with alumni and learn about different ministry options.  In 2017, 100% of the students who participated in these workshops and submitted their resume to the STM Resume Book, found employment or continued with their studies.
