School of Theology and Ministry

Welcome to the STM

school of theology and ministry

Dear prospective students,

Thank you for your interest in the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. As a Catholic theological school in the Jesuit tradition, our faculty, staff, and students embody the synthesis of rigorous intellectual education and spiritual formation for leadership in the church and the world. Students engage the great theological and spiritual tradition of our faith.  They then take what they have learned, and use it to engage the needs and challenges of our time. At the STM, we hope this education not only changes how and what you think, but also how you live your life.

In our prospective students section, you will be able to read about current faculty and students, come to an understanding of the differences between our many degree and non-degree programs, and learn more about the spiritual life and formation that shapes our school.

To receive information via mail, or to schedule a visit, please contact us at Feel free to also contact the admissions office by e-mail or phone at 617-552-6506 if you have any questions about our school, our academic programs, or theological education in general.

Thank you for your interest in our School and in Catholic theological education.  I pray that your discernment goes well, and that you find a program which deepens your understanding of the great mystery of faith.

With best wishes,

Adam Poluzzi
