This six-week series is designed to introduce lay preachers to the basic skills for preparing, composing, delivering, and evaluating a reflection on a Scripture passage. The first class meeting is an overview of preaching basics, and the remaining class meetings are devoted to the practice of preaching. Each participant will have one opportunity to preach from an assigned Scripture passage. The preaching experience will be followed by a discussion to assist the preacher and class members in deepening their preaching skills. Limited to 10 participants. Register
