Each time we proclaim the Creed, we profess belief in “one, holy, catholic and apostolic church.”  Those adjectives can be problematic, but “catholic” is perhaps especially so.  This lecture will explore the meaning of the church’s catholicity, including the claim that it makes on all Christians. It will focus on the challenge of achieving catholicity today and the particular issues it raises for Roman Catholics. Register

Richard Lennan is a priest of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, Australia and professor of systematic theology at the School of Theology and Ministry.
