faculty, programs, and courses
At the heart of the STM is a vibrant and collaborative learning community that supports your intellectual development. At the STM, you will study with a faculty of scholars, ministers, and mentors dedicated to educating and forming students. Our rigorous academic programs will challenge you to apply what you are learning in the classroom in service to communities throughout the world.
As a Jesuit, Catholic school of theology and ministry, our faculty members see their work as something more than just a job. For them, this is their ministry, their service to the church and to the world. Faculty members provide resources and mentorship to students during their time here at the STM: their doors are always open and students are encouraged to engage and build relationships with them.
STM offers 8 degree programs to meet the needs of our students preparing to become future leaders in ministry, scholarship, education, and social justice work. We also offer a number of certificates and a nondegree option for students wishing to take courses for further academic or professional development.
Studying in Boston
