The STM welcomes new faculty

Mary Jo Iozzio has accepted an STM faculty position as professor of moral theology starting in fall 2013.  Dr. Iozzio is currently professor of moral theology at Barry University

STM students at the Colloquium on Violence and Religion

M.Div. student, Ryan Duns, S.J., has been awarded first place for his paper, “The Lord Has Made All Things for Himself: Creatio Ex Nihilo and the Ecological Imagination," which will be presented at the colloquium.

M.T.S. student, Chelsea King, will also present her paper, “The Eucharist through a Girardian Lens," which was awarded third place.

Congratulations

Nancy Pineda-Madrid has been elected Vice President of the Academy of Catholic Hispanic Theologians of the United States (ACHTUS).

John Baldovin, S.J., whose article, "The Liturgical Vision of Vatican II 50 Years Later," was recently published in America.
