Clinical Simulation Lab
The Sim Lab is an interactive learning resource used for both research and teaching purposes. Students and faculty use the facility to gain experience in solving diagnostic and ethical dilemmas, evaluating health behaviors, and identifying human response patterns to health and illness. State of the art technology is used for clinical decision making simulation and data management.
Kennedy Resource Center
The Kennedy Resource Center (KRC) is a self-directed learning lab for Connell School of Nursing students. Resources available in the Center include interactive computer software, Internet and web access, a conference room and a group viewing classroom, and both Macintosh computers and PCs for student use.
The Kennedy Resource Center's hours of operation are the following:

The Center is closed when regular semester classes are not in session, on Saturdays,
holidays and any Sunday of a holiday weekend.

nursing health sciences collection
The Boston College Nursing Library Collection within the O'Neill Library has long been recognized for its breadth and depth of coverage of nursing and allied health literature. The nursing collection has over 65,000 volumes and contains approximately 850 subscriptions to health care periodicals. The nursing library collection is the Nursing Resource Library for the National Library of Medicine's National Network of Libraries of Medicine, New England Region. The collection includes current subscriptions and complete back files to most nursing periodicals in English and in many foreign languages, in addition to numerous other related periodicals in medicine, bioethics, sociology, psychiatry, public health, and social sciences. There are complete files of all nursing indices, bibliographies, reference books and selected major indices in related fields. The nursing library collection includes more than 7000 dissertations by or about nurses on microfiche. Nursing dissertations from 1997 to the present are available online in full-text format. The Virtual Data Center enhances quantitative research at Boston College by consolidating access to data collections, analytical software, and consulting services supporting quantitative research across disciplines. Wanda Anderson, the Subject Specialist Librarian for Nursing, provides one-on-one research consultation and library instruction.
