It's hard to explain the depth of how I view my experience at BC. In short, it was life changing. It was the hardest work I've ever done trying to carry a full class load, balance a demanding clinical schedule, work every weekend and be a father to three children and a husband when time allowed.
I was thrilled at the idea of finally being able to attend BC as a graduate student, as I was so familiar with its history and its outstanding reputation in the field of Nursing.
I remember being greeted with a hand shake by a professor at the door of one class in particular, and most every nursing faculty member we came in contact with made it point to "welcome the anesthesia students."
The classes were superb and challenging. Although BC can boast a number of major hospital surgical sites, there is a very personal feel to this program and how it is able to address any issue or specific learning need of any student.
Each of my fellow students and I had well over the required cases and case hours necessary, and finding appropriate types of cases was never too difficult.
I have recommended this program to anyone that would listen to me.
