Descriptions and Schedules
A PhD Colloquium is held several times each semester for PhD students and other interested people on various topics of nursing research. Content is based on student needs and interests. Topics have included strategies in cross-cultural research, issues of informed consent with children, methods for historical research, postdoctoral studies, and strategies for publication of scholarly work.
A PhD Student Research Development Day is held annually for first- and second-year PhD students to present the status of their research. Dialogue and feed-back from fellow students and faculty help students to develop further their research ideas and methodology.
