Linda Berntsen-Curtiss, M.S. ’78, APRN, PNCS, B.C., is a board certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist (CNS) who works in private practice providing psychiatric and medication evaluations to incarcerated women. She has also worked as a clinical instructor in psychiatric nursing here at Boston College and Regis College.

Berntsen-Curtiss began her career at Norwood Hospital where she worked as a clinical nurse specialist for almost three decades. She graduated from Boston College School of Nursing in 1978 with a Master of Science degree in psychiatric nursing.


Parking is available in either the Commonwealth Avenue garage or in the Beacon Street garage.


One (1) contact hour will be provided by Boston College William F. Connell School of Nursing Continuing Education Program. Pharmacology contact hours TBD.
