Heather became a full time faculty member of Boston College in the fall of 2006.  Prior to teaching for Boston College, she worked part time as a clinical instructor at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions for one year.  She received her Masters Degree in nursing in 2006 with an Adult Health and Gerontology specialty as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.  Heather currently works in the capacity of a clinical instructor for Adult Health One and Two.  As a staff nurse for many years, she enjoyed working with the medical patient population, and has a particular interest in the ethical implications surrounding end of life care.  She has been a member of Sigma Theta Tau since her undergraduate years at the University of Scranton, Scranton, PA.
