Sherri St.Pierre was hired full-time at BC in 2003 after working part-time since 2000.  She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner and has worked per diem in a pediatric urgent care setting for the past 12 years.  Prior to that she worked in primary care and in a pediatric emergency room.  Currently she teaches pediatric clinical with  undergraduate and master's entry students as well as pediatric theory.  Sherri also oversees some of the clinical practice for the pediatric nurse practitioner students. She has been affiliated with Children's Hospital since 1990 and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, for whom she functions as the Senior Counselor.  In addition, she is also a member of NAPNAP and the Mass Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
