Sherri St. Pierre began at BC part-time as a clinical instructor in 2000 and accepted a full-time position at BC in 2003. She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner and has worked per diem in a pediatric urgent care setting since 1996. Sherri completed the Teaching Nursing Education Post Masters Certificate Program at Boston College in 2004. Prior to coming to Boston College she worked in a pediatric primary care office and in a pediatric emergency room setting. Currently she teaches pediatric nursing in the Masters Entry Program and is the Program Director for Pediatrics in the Graduate Program. Sherri also oversees the clinical practice for the pediatric nurse practitioner students and teaches in the clinical management courses. She has been affiliated with Children's Hospital since 1990 and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and functions as an active member of the Governance Committee for the Alpha Chi Chapter at Boston College. In addition, she is also a member of NAPNAP and the Mass Coalition of Nurse Practitioners (MCNP). She is on the Planning Committee for the MCNP and assist in planning their annual nurse practitioner conference.
