Adele Pike is the Director of the Center for Excellence in Home Care Practice and Education, a collaborative endeavor between the Connell School of Nursing and the Visiting Nurse Association of Boston.  She has extensive experience in home care practice and management, and is particularly interested in how home care organizations effect clinical practice change and apply research findings to the home care setting.  At Boston College, Adele teaches community health at the undergraduate and graduate level; at the VNA of Boston she is director of the clinical education department.  Her background as a Clinical Nurse Specialist is instrumental in her work and approach to home care practice.  Adele received her Baccalaureate degree from Smith College with a major in history, and then went on to the Direct Entry Master’s program at Yale University School of Nursing where she earned her MSN.  Her doctorate is in Education from Boston University.
