Dr. Susan Kelly-Weeder is a family nurse practitioner and
an Assistant Professor in Nursing in the Connell School of Nursing at Boston
College. She has over twenty years of clinical and teaching experience in
nursing with a particular interest in family health issues. Dr. Kelly-Weeder
received her PhD in Nursing and Health Promotion from the University of
Massachusetts Lowell in 2004 where her dissertation examined risk factors
for infertility in women. Her current areas of research include predictors
of fertility impairment in African-American women, the psychosocial aspects
of an infertility diagnosis, and risk reduction strategies for women.
research interests
Women's experiences with infertility, women's health and health risk reduction in women, disordered eating, binge drinking in college aged women, disordered eating and alcohol use in college aged women.
