C. Andrew Martin is a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Coordinator at Beacon Hospice, Inc. in Charlestown, MA. He is also Adjunct Online Faculty at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and a Consultant at the Hospice Education Network, Inc.
A nurse in the hospice industry for the past 17 years, Andrew is passionate about promoting end-of-life education to colleagues, nursing students, and the community. Andrew has taught Death & Dying at the University of New Hampshire; the Palliative Care III Practicum at Boston College, and End-of-Life Care: Promoting Awareness through Film, Life Stories, and Case Studies at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine.
Andrew is a trainer for both the Hospice and Palliative Nurse Association Clinical Review and the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC). He is the President-Elect of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA)-Boston Chapter (2010-2011) and serves on the national HPNA Membership Committee (2011-2013).
