This course provides a broad systems overview of pediatric growth and development. Newborn, toddler, school age, and adolescent health assessment will be reviewed. Topics also include common childhood diseases, screening guidelines, and immunization schedules. Students will practice obtaining a pediatric health history/physical examination. In addition, the course will foster discussion on legal and ethical considerations.
