Classes will be conducted almost entirely in Spanish with a continued emphasis on conversation rather than grammar. Topics will include medical terminology and the application of language to patient care with a focus on listening comprehension. Students will be taught common terms used in the clinical setting as well as phrases and commands used during a physical assessment. A trial-and-error learning approach is embraced here. Prerequisite: Conversational Medical Spanish I
