In this course, students not only learn the practical language skills used in first aid and emergency situations, but gain an appreciation for the Spanish culture as well. Upon completion, you will be able to facilitate a patient's movement from the community to the hospital setting. General focus is on learning conversational Spanish rather than grammar. (A basic understanding of the Spanish language is necessary.)
