This course will review normal lab values, laboratory tests, and clinically relevant findings. Common problems seen in the adult population will be reviewed including dehydration, fluid overload, impaired renal function, infection, blood loss, nutrition, and anticoagulation. General assessment considerations and corresponding laboratory values will be reviewed to provide a more complete picture for the nurse caring for patients.
