This course is designed to examine the components of human behavior that bring people into a criminal justice setting and analyze the legal questions involved. Content covers forensic and behavioral interviewing, interrogation, the role of forensic mental health examiners, case formulation, DSM IV-R diagnosis, treatment modalities, criminal investigations and charges, state of mind, duty to warn, memory and recall, malingering, and secondary gain. Forensic cases form the basis for discussion of each class topic.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Requests for cancellations and refunds are accepted in only in writing (email: firstname.lastname@example.org) at least four weeks prior to the start of the course. A refund is provided (less a $75 administrative fee per course). No refunds will be made for cancellations requested within four weeks of the start date of the course or for no-shows.
